Another documentary I saw was...
"Who Killed the Electric Car"
It's about GM's EV1 (electric car) and how all electric cars were disappeared. To be honest, I've never heard of this. I never knew that electric car actually existed and they were on a road. It started in CA and auto makers were forced to produce the zero emission cars. But it seems like GM never wanted to produce this car ever because they did not think it was profitable at all. Instead, they wanted to sell big Hummers and SUVs and trucks.
So when the C.A.R.B (California Air Resource Bureau) killed the regulation, GM and other auto makers were so quick to destroy them, never gave the customers the option of buyout.
Americans are definitely addicted to oil. Now the average gas costs over $3/gallon, they still love to drive SUVs or trucks and spend so much money on oil, but their driving habits have not changed much yet. I wonder when they are going to realize that they need to buy more oil efficient cars or change the driving habits
