DIA stands for the Detroit Institute of Art. The part of the museum was under a renovation for 5 years. For the public opening, they were open 36 hrs straight! I really wanted to go there at midnight, but that would be too dangerous (the museums is in downtown Detroit and it is not a good idea to be there late night...)
The museum was really great. I haven't been to any museum lately, so it was very inspiring and calming. Plus, I was able to see my favorite artist's pieces too! It was awesome!
