"Make It Right" in New Orleans

My friend informed me about this new project called "Make It Right". This is a project started by Brad Pitt to build 150 sustainable houses in the lower 9th ward where it was hit the hardest by Hurricane Katrina.

It was devastating to know that many of former New Orleans residents were not able to return yet. So that's how this project was begun...

The houses will be green, affordable, and sustainable, The main architect is William McDonough, the author of "Cradle To Cradle", who practices sustainable constructions! As I wrote in my blog before, this book is such a revolutionary one!
I cannot wait to see those houses in my eyes someday... how exciting!!!
